Title: An Empirical Study on Processing Trade and China’s Economic Growth
Abstract: The paper reveals,through national income identity,the contribution of processing trade to economic growth.By using econometric models,it is reflected that both feeding processing and contract processing trades have notable influence on export trade,and aconclusion is drawn that export of processing trade promotes economic growth by expanding general export trade.It is proposed that processing trade should be developed in concert with industrial upgrading,that the connection between processing trade and domestic industries should be strengthened,that the matching capacity of processing trade should be improved,and that the dynamic advantages of processing trade should be fully exploited to promote domestic ability of independent technological innovation and transformation of economic growth modes of China.
