Title: The Early World-war Evolution of the Truman Administration’s China Policy
Abstract: After World War II, the United States with its own benefits ,and continuously adjust its China policy as a means to achieve their own strategic interests in the Asia Pacific region. But Washington’s starting point of adjustment has always been to support the pro-American Nationalist government. Since the ideology in U.S. foreign policy plays a very important role, combined with the changing situation in China’s civil war, the Truman administration's China policy changes in the history of Sino-US relations is very clear . By intensive analysis ,it is helpful to have a better understanding of U.S policy toward China and to seize historical traces of Sino- US diplomatic policy development in the early postwar period.
