Despite the contribution and prominence of the traditional theory of tourism research, but it is incapable to justify satisfactorily the movement of tourist flows in space and time. As it ignores the particularity of tourism product and the importance of tourism competition behavior in the tourist flows. This study aims at providing an economic explanation for the observed variety in the actual consumer choice of destinations. This paper analyses the affecting factors in the actual consumer choice of destination. The affecting factors consist of expenditure and time limitation, price, consumer preference, quality of tourism product, information and advertising, and the emergence of new destinations.
