Title: Inhibition Effects of Three Aphicides on the CMV Transmission by Aphis gossypii
Abstract: Three aphicides, Cypermethrin 0.45mg/mL, Pymetrozine 0.2mg/mL, Imidacloprid 0.3mg/mL, were used in the research on the inhibition effects in preventing the CMV transmission by Aphis gossypii. The toxicity effects of these insecticides on aphids were also studied. The results showed that Cypermethrin could not only significantly increased the death mortality of aphids, but also significantly decreased the CMV transmission. Moreover, compared with the other two pesticides, Pymetrozine was found to be a more efficient pesticide for inhibiting CMV transmission.
