Title: Treating 40 Cases of Hypertension of Liver-kidney Yin Deficiency Pattern by Integrative Medicine
Abstract: Objective: To observe clinical effects of Qi Ju Di Huang Tang combined with routine western medicine in treating hypertension of liver-kidney Yin deficiency pattern. Methods: Eighty patients were randomly allocated to the treatment group and the control group, 40 cases each group. The control group accepted routine treatment of western medicine; the treatment group took modified Qi Ju Di Huang Tang on the foundation of the control group received. The changes of clinical symptoms, blood pressure, blood lipid and others in both groups were observed before and after treating. Results: Total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.5%, higher than 85.0% of the control group, the difference showed statistical meaning(P0.05); after treating in three months, the treatment group was higher than the control group in blood pressure decrease notably(P0.05). Conclusion: Combined with routine western medicine, modified Qi Ju Di Huang Tang could lower blood pressure in treating hypertension of liver-kidney Yin deficiency pattern obviously, clinical effects of the combined therapy are better than only western medicine.
