Abstract: This paper uses the idea of modularization to establish a robot module library of modular mobile robot platform,and specifically describes the modules of generic module as well as specific implementation details.Assembling generic module and special module,three kinds of robots were built up: small mobile robot,explosion-proof mobile robot and dual-cooperation robot.Through the robot prototype performance testing,it is concluded that the main performance parameters of the robot which verified the feasibility and superiority of modular design.
