Title: A Study of the Interrelations of Lawsuit Fiction Collections in Ming Dynasty and the Development of Their Styles
Abstract: According to the publishing dates and contents of the six collections of lawsuit fiction in Ming Dynasty, it is simply clear that Zhusi Lawsuit is the sequel of Lianming Lawsuit, while both of them are prior to Mingjing Lawsuit. For the rest, based on a textual analysis, Xiangxing Lawsuit ought to be the source of Lutiao Lawsuit and Xiangqing Lawsuit, yet Xiangqing Lawsuit is closer to Xiangxing Lawsuit than Lutiao Lawsuit is. In addition, this paper also discusses the stylistic features of these six collections and their position and influence in the history of Chinese lawsuit fiction.
