Abstract: Marx studied why and how labor decides value and formed his labor value theory by using highly abstract methods. The kernel of Marx's value theory is that the essence of value is human relation in society. But Marx neglected the same kind of relation that embodies on matters, and left his value theory incomplete. Keeping pace with the development of the time, inheriting and developing Marx's labor theory and perfecting the theoretical system is still the great subject of economic construction.
