Abstract:Beet armyworm,Spodoptera exigua,were collected from the field and reared in laboratory for 20 generations,and the sensitivity of 3th larvae of S.exigua to chlorantraniliprole was investigated.The resu...Beet armyworm,Spodoptera exigua,were collected from the field and reared in laboratory for 20 generations,and the sensitivity of 3th larvae of S.exigua to chlorantraniliprole was investigated.The results showed that LC50 values were 0.747 5 mg/L and 0.218 2 mg/L after insecticide treatment for 48 h and 72 h.The larval weight of S.exigua is a little higher than the control after chlorantraniliprole treatment with the lowest concentration (0.004 3 mg/L) for 48 h.However,there was significant difference between treatment and control with the increase of chlorantraniliprole concentration.This study provided baseline for the susceptibility of S.exigua to chlorantraniliprole and revealed its higher toxicity to this insect.Read More
