Title: Landscape Application of Withered, Old or Dead Trees
Abstract: The landscape design in general refers to the use of live plants to do the design, while the use of withered, old, or dead plants in landscape design has been seldom studied. Those special plant materials, seemingly no ecological value in traditional landscape conception, have their unique landscape value instead. In the landscape design with live plants as the leading materials, the appropriate use of these withered or dead plants as the ornament or the main scene will help create the touring interest and features in part or whole of the landscape.
