Title: Comparison on Three Active Compounds Content in Different Parts of Diospyros rhombifolia Hemsl.
Abstract: [Objective] The study aimed to compare the content of total polysaccharides,saponins and flavone in different parts of D.rhombifolia.[Method] The total polysaccharide,saponins and flavone content in different parts of D.rhombifolia were determined by UV-visible spectrophotometer.[Result] The total polysaccharides content in different parts were as follows: 30.19% in fruits,4.86% in seeds,5.28% in stems,28.43% in leaves and 16.78% in roots.The total saponins contents in different parts were 4.73% in fruits,1.33% in seeds,6.64% in stems,6.24% in leaves and 3.26% in roots.The total flavone content in different parts were 4.20 mg/g in fruits,2.01 mg/g in seeds,3.60 mg/g in stems,23.16 mg/g in leaves and 8.26 mg/g in roots.[Conclusion] The order of total polysaccharides,saponins and flavone content in different parts were fruitsleavesrootsstemsseeds,stemsleavesfruitsrootsseeds and leavesrootsfruitsstemsseeds,respectively.
