The results showed that the malondiadehyde content increased at first, and then decreased with the increase of drought stress, while the cell membrane permeability kept increasing during drought stress; after rewatering the cell membrane permeability soon recovered while the malondiadehyde content needed a long time to restore. The cell membrane permeability responded to some extent of drought stress and the stabilization of malondiadehyde content might be meaningful to drought resistant of tobacco.Read More
