Title: ADVANCES IN THE DIGLYPHUS BEGINI-A PARASITOID OF LIRIOMYZA SATIVAE BLANCHARD
Abstract: Diglyphus begini (Ashmead) is an important parasitoid of several Liriomyza spp ; commonly infesting agricultural crops. As an important factor of biological control, it has been produced commercialy and used to control Liriomyza sativae Blanchard and Liriomyza trifolii in North America and West Europe. This paper is a detailed account of D. begird's host range, biology, mass rearing technique and the impacte of chemical insecticide on Diglyphus begini (Ashmead).
