Title: The Transformation of Personnel Institution in Peking University in 2003: Sociological Neo-institutionalism Analysis
Abstract: Taking the Faculty Recruitment and Promotion System Reform of Peking University in the year of 2003 as a case and the institutional construction theory of neo-institutionalism in the field of sociology as the analytical framework, the author uncovers the interest conflicts and institutional dilemmas in the institutional transformation of Chinese universities.The author concludes that although year 2003 Peking University Reform is not a complete institutional change,it makes a great breakthrough in autonomy movement of Chinese university.
