Title: Effect of Fertilization on Potassium Uptake in 3 Hybrids Cut-flower Lily
Abstract: Through soil incubation experiment in greenhouse, the phosporus uptake in 3 hybrids of cut-flower lily(i.e Asiatic hybrids Var.Prato,Longiflorum hybrids Var.Snow Queen,Oriental hybrids Var.Siberia)was studied under fertilization and CK conditions. The results showed that the potassium concentration in stem and leaf for 3 hybrids was decreased during the whole procreation stage, but the change of the potassium concentration in root and bulb was depended on the variety and fertilization treatment. The plant mainly used the potassium stored in the bulb during prophase(before 47 days)for 3 hybrids of lily. The period when potassium was rapidly absorbed was about eighty-one days from bud differentiation to harvest for Oriental hybrids lily, fifty days from bud differentiation to cut-flower for Longiflorum hybrids lily, and was about twenty-five days before cutting flower for Asiatic hybrids lily.
