Abstract:The surface strength and tensile strength of different copper alloy at high temperature are compared.The effect of cooling hole's number on thermal transmittance and temperature field is simulated.At ...The surface strength and tensile strength of different copper alloy at high temperature are compared.The effect of cooling hole's number on thermal transmittance and temperature field is simulated.At last the Cr-Zr-Cu alloy is adopted to make casting rolls for twin-roll strip caster,and the experiments of twin-roll strip casting on high speed steel are carried out at the same conditions besides materials of casting rolls,one is the alloy steel,the other is Cr-Zr-Cu alloy.The results show that the cooling capacity of Cr-Zr-Cu casting rolls increase by 60% than that of steel ones,the center of the cast-strip produced by Cr-Zr-Cu casting rolls is improved and it's cracks is reduced,the austenite in the cast-strip produced by Cr-Zr-Cu casting rolls is finer than that in the cast-strip produced by steel ones,the eutectic carbide in the cast-strip produced by Cr-Zr-Cu casting rolls is granular and chook foot-like,no found the half-net eutectic carbide exists in the cast-strip produced by steel casting rolls.Read More
