Title: A SYSTEMATIC STUDY ON THE GENUS BUNDERA DISTANT (HOMOPTERA:CICADELLIDAE:EVACANTHINAE)
Abstract: Four new species of the genus Bundera Distant are described from China in this paper. A key to all the thirteen species of this genus is proposed. The type specimens of B.biguttata sp.nov.and B.scalara sp.nov.are deposited in the Institute of Entomology,Guizhou University(GZU),and the others are kept in the Entomological Museum,Northwest Sci-Tech University of Agriculture and Forestry(NWSUAF) and the Institute of Zoology,Chinese Academy of Sciences(IZAS).1) Bundera biguttata Li et Wang, sp.nov. (Figs.1-6) Body length (incl.tegm.): ♂7.5-7.8*!mm, ♀8.0-8.2*!mm. This new species is closely related to B.venata Distant,1908,but can be distinguished from the latter by the body relatively larger, the middle area of crown without black spot, and longltudinal ridge of frontoclypeus pale yellowish white. Holotype♂,paratypes 1♂,2♀♀,Fanjing Mountain (27°51′N,108°46′E),Guizhou Province,27 July 2001,coll.by LIU Gao-Feng.2)Bundera nigricana Li et Yang, sp.nov. (Figs.7-13) Body length (incl.tegm.): ♂5.8-6.0*!mm, ♀6.2-6.7*!mm. This species is similar to B.emeiana Li et Wang,1994,but differs in its body and forewing pale fulvors, the candoventral margin of pygofer side turnup, and the shape of the aedeagus also distinctly different. Holotype♂,Emei Mountain (28°45′N,102°53′E),Sichuan Province,20 Aug. 1957, coll. by HUANG Ke-Ren,paratypes 8♀♀,18 Aug. 1957,coll.by ZHU Fu-Xing,place as holotype.3)Bundera scalara Li et Wang, sp.nov. (Figs.14-20) Body length(incl.tegm.): ♂5.2-5.5*!mm, ♀5.8-6.0*!mm. This species is related to B.emeiana Li et Wang,1994,but differs from the latter in the anterior area of crown without a short transeverse mark;the end of pygofer side with teeth;and the frontoclypeus pallide-flavens. Holotype♂,paratypes 7♂♂,3♀♀,Fanjing Mountain(25°51′N,108°46′E),Guizhou Province,2-4 Aug. 2001,coll.by LI Zi-Zhong.4)Bundera trimaculata Li et Yang,sp.nov. (Figs.21-26) Body length (incl.tegm.):♂5.0-5.2*!mm. This species is allied to B.venata Distant,1908,but can be distinguished from the latter by anterior area of forewing black, the end of aedeagus with a small hook and the subgenital plate with many thick setae. Holotype♂,paratype 1♂,Shennongjia (31°48′N,110°37′E),Hubei Province,4 Aug. 1988,coll.by YANG Zhong-Qi.
