Title: Study of Ground Pressure Behavior of an Extended Mining Face in a Shallow Seam with Thick Bedrock
Abstract: In order to ensure the safe and effective production of the extended mining face in a shallow seam with thick bedrock and large mining height, field ground pressure monitoring is conducted at 61203 mining face of Wulanmulun coal mine. The ground pressure behavior of an extended mining face in the shallow seam with thick bedrock is discussed. The supports of the 360-meter-long mining face are acting continuously at a high stand, and the ground pressure changes inhomogeneously during the mining period. The first weighting and period weighting of the extended mining face are remarkable, the weighting steps vary a lot,and the dynamic load coefficient of the support is quite great, suggesting that the working resistance of each hydraulic support should be 9 770 to 13 469 kN.
