Abstract:By supporting magnetic bearings on the MR damper,we can control rheological behavior of magneto-rheological fluid to suppress vibration of the magnetic bearing system.In order to get better effect of ...By supporting magnetic bearings on the MR damper,we can control rheological behavior of magneto-rheological fluid to suppress vibration of the magnetic bearing system.In order to get better effect of vibration reduction and improve the MR dampers performance,optimum design is necessary for structure parameters of MRF dampers.Based on finite element analysis of magnetic field,taking the maximum radial magnetic field strength applied to magneto-rheological filuid as objective functions,utilizing of multi-objective genetic algorithm(MOGA),the optimum design of MRF damper was completed and the magnetic field coupling problem of MRF damper and magnetic bearings was solved.After optimization,the magnetic field strength of both ends of MR damper increases and resultantly variable range of damping force is improved,providing reference for design on MR damper.Read More
