Title: A Reinvestigation of Communicative Language Teaching
Abstract: After its introduction into our country in the 1980's, communicative language teaching has been quickly applied to foreign language teaching practice and,little by little,it is replacing our traditional teaching models.However,over twenty years after its initial adoption,many foreign-language teaching Chinese teachers still have some theoretical misconceptions about this approach.This paper makes a detailed analysis of three commonly held theoretical misconceptions,and hopes,with their clarifications,to promote our foreign language teaching.
