Title: Establishment of the Model of Leaf and Fruit Growth of Nectarine
Abstract: Based on Logistic growth model, the leaf and fruit growth models of nectarine were established, from which the equations of the rates of leaf and fruit growth were deduced, which were compared with the observed values. The growth curve of the leaf and the fruit presented as a double S from the data measured and the data simulated. The rates of leaf and fruit growth exhibited double peak curves. The leaf expansion period was about 26 days with high growth rate, while the rate of fruit growth was slow in this period, therefore, the growth was mainly vegetative. The first maximum rate of leaf growth(4.86 cm2·d-1) was higher than the second one(0.98 cm2·d-1),while the second maximum rage of fruit growth(7.40 cm3·d-1) was higher than the first one(1.54 cm3·d-1).The rate of fruit growth increased and the rate of leaf growth decreased after 34 days. The second maximum rate of leaf growth was coincident with the first maximum rate of fruit growth, all were hypo-peak growth. The reproductive growth and vegetative growth were competitive in the peroid.Nutrient deficiency may occur in this period.Nutrients must be supplemented to prevent the deficiency.
