Title: Research Advance in Function and Role of Endothelin System in the Process of Cirrhotic Portal Hypertension
Abstract: The cirrhotic portal hypertension(CPH) is still a severe common disease endangering our health.Among various vascular activation factors, endothelin system(ETS) has received increasing attention due to its pivotal roles in the changes of intrahepatic and extrahepatic vascular resistance and portal blood flow. However,it remains much contravention about the function and status of ETS and effect of endothelin receptor antagonists on hemodynamics of portal hypertension up to now. So,it is necessary that much attention be paied to investigate and evaluate the role and explore the mechanism of ETS in CPH.
