Title: CT Diagnostic Value in Pulmonary Tuberculosis
Abstract: Purpose To explore the value of CT diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis by comparing with the diagnostic results shown on the plain films. Methods Comparisons of the correspondency in the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis were made both between chest radiography and physicians' clinical diagnosis, and between CT diagnosis and physicians' clinical diagnosis. Results In the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis and in the determination of cavum and of pulmonary tuberculosis activity, CT produced results superior to chest radiography. Conclusion CT examination facilitates the accuracy of the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis.
