It is very important and necessary for polyamide materials to improve their antistatic properties with chemical or physical methods. Polyaniline material is considered as the most promising conductive polymer because of its easily obtained raw material,simple synthesis process,unique doping phenomenon,high conductivity and good stability in air. But polyaniline is difficult to be melted or to dissolve in solution due to its unique molecular chain structure and strong intermolecular force,and that limits its application. Usually polyaniline is used as an antistatic agent in polyamide-polyaniline composites to improve the antistatic property of polyamide fabrics, coatings,oil pipelines and other polyamide products,as well as the processing property of polyaniline. Based on compounding characteristics of different composite systems,the preparation methods,research progress and application areas of polyamide-polyaniline composite fibers,composite films,composite powders and threephase composite material systems were reviewed.Read More
