Title: Mixing conditions optimization of powder foud by response surface methodology
Abstract: For promoting performance of V-shaped mixer that process powder food, the mixing parameters influencing homogeneity during the processing were optimized by response surface methodology(RSM). Based on single factor experiments, the IV feeding mode was used. Taking mixture homogeneity as respons value, effects of mixture time, filling fraction and sampling amount on mixture homogeneity were studied using central composite design(CCD). The results showed that the optimal parameters were mixture time of 12min, filling fraction of 35%, and sampling amount of 56 g. Under these conditions, the mixture homogeneity of material was 96.70% in comparison with the predicted yield of 96.91%, suggesting that the optimal mixture conditions were reliable.
