Title: Fusion Algorithm Using Combination Weighting Approach for Highway Multi-Source Information
Abstract: With the use of diversified information collection system by the Intelligent Highway Information System,numerous types of multi-source heterogeneous traffic data exist today.This paper analyzes the technical characteristics of the cellular data,GPS,the information from roadside equipment,and then empowers this three data collection systems with a subjective and an objective weighting approaches,respectively.Subsequently,the paper examines the consistency of the subjective and objective weighting approaches and corrects inconsistencies by using Kendall Consistency Coefficient and Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient,respectively.Through case studies,the results demonstrate that the accuracy of the fused speed fluctuation is within±10km/h and it can be as high as 96%.The fused travel speed support the highway management department in decision making and efficient scheduling with high accuracy and reliability.
