The Chronological Life of Successive Generations of the Dalai Lamas and the Panchan Lamas compiled by Danzhuangben gives a detailed account of the incident based on Tibetan Historical literature, but failed to include descriptions of the event in the Chinese literature. As we know the two accounts are quite different from each other, therefore has a great value of complementary. The author of this paper rewrites the Chronological life of Dalai ⅩⅢ in this period of time based on the Chinese literature, which, together with that compiled by Danzhuangben, will give the reader a complete idea of the event. In addition, this paper put to right some errors in some of the historical facts found in the Biography of the Dalai Lama by YA Han-zhang.Read More
