Title: Interpretation and evaluation method for complex gas reservoir in Dongping area
Abstract: The geological conditions of gas reservoirs in Dongping area of Qinghai Oilfield are complex,the interpretation and evaluation is difficult for solely relying on wireline logging or mud logging.To solve this problem,on the basis of introducing the geological features of the complex lithologic reservoirs in Dongping area,through the statistical analysis for sonic neutron ratio and oil saturation in wireline logging data,combining with total hydrocarbon of gas logging and contrasting with oil testing data in Dongping area,the crossplot charts of total hydrocarbon with sonic neutron ratio and total hydrocarbon with oil saturation of wireline logging were established,thus achieving an accurate interpretation and evaluation for such complex reservoirs and improving the work efficiency.Field application achieved good results,consistent rate of reservoir interpretation was 95%.Mud logging has its own intuitive,timely and comprehensive superiorities,by combining with wireline logging technology,a unique interpretation was formed which integrated wireline logging with mud logging,it solved the problem of identifying the complex reservoirs in Dongping area.
