Title: Value Orientation in Marx and Engels' Literary Criticism
Abstract: Aesthetic and point of view is most centralized generalization of value of Marx and Engels' literary criticism. Marx and Engels, in their literary theory and practice, put the aesthetic standard at first place, and scientifically established position of literary criticism as patron saint of artistic beauty of literature. It is inevitable that historical standard arouses problem of value orientation of social utility of literary criticism, and therefore forms revolutionary utilitarian value orientation aimed at liberation of proletariat. Humanistic solicitude is ultimate orientation of Marx and Engels' literary criticism, and in full pursuit of spontaneous nature of human freedom, aesthetics and history are highly merged.
