Title: Survey of College English Vocabulary Teaching
Abstract: This paper discusses the cognitive difficulties in vocabulary learning,vocabulary input sources,and vocabulary input and its effectiveness.The results show that usage is the most difficult in vocabulary learning;students mainly rely on teachers' input;and the current vocabulary teaching approaches are far from satisfactory.Therefore,in order to improve the vocabulary teaching,some strategies relating to vocabulary teaching are proposed.
