Title: Therapy for female stress urinary incontinence(A report of 130 cases)
Abstract: Objective To discuss the therapy for female stress urinary incontinence.Methods The data of 130 patients with female stress urinary incontinence were analyzed retrospectively. Non-surgical therapy,such as he traditional Chinese medicine,pelvic floor muscular training,pelvic floor muscular electrostimulation and biofeedback,were employed to manage 124 cases with female stress urinary incontinence; surgical therapy were applied to treat 6 cases with severe female stress urinary incontinence accompanied with pelvic organ prolapse.Results Of 124 cases in non-surgical group,female stress urinary incontinence were cured in 48 cases,improved in 39 cases,and the effective rate was 71.2% (87/124). Of 6 cases in surgical group,female stress urinary incontinence were cured in 5 cases,improved in 1 cases,and the effective rate was 100.0% (6/6) and the cured rate was 83.3% (5/6).Conclusion Non-surgical therapy is often effective to manage mild-moderate female stress urinary incontinence,and surgical therapy is employed to treat severe female stress urinary incontinence accompanied with pelvic organ prolapse,with good efficacy.
