Title: The Static Stiffness Analysis toward a New 3-TPS Parallel Machine Tool Based on ANSYS
Abstract: In order to avoid stiffness and weakness and improve machine precision,the paper analyses and calculates static stiffness of the 3-TPS parallel machine tool,and searches for some traits about various static stiffness on different forms and positions.Firstly,we are going to set up the theory of modeling of static stiffness for the parallel machine tool to find some influencing factors.Then we carry out simulation and calculation of stiffness when it is in different positions and different directions based on ANSYS.In the same position,the stiffness along Y axis is bigger than others.In different forms and poses,the stiffness in the utmost position is least.The biggest transmogrification position is on the gemels of moving plate and parallelism mechanism.The transmogrification of parallelism mechanism is considerable.The stiffness along main axis is bigger than others;it will be increasing static stiffness apart from the utmost position;the tache having smallest stiffness is the gemels of moving plate and parallelism mechanism;the stiffness of parallelism mechanism will affect the whole stiffness.
