Title: Public Resources, Social System and Jurat Corruption——An analysis of and comment on the individual attitudes toward jurant corruption
Abstract: Jurat corruption is a common phenomenon among public officers. It is publicly believed that nothing less than a corruption-eradicating system can solve the problem. Privately, however, many are tolerant towards jurat corruption for reasons including its innateness in all social systems, excusableness due to public officers’lack of other means of making money and their corruption’s reduced influence as compared with behavioral social crimes, and possible compensation for the loss with their effective economic contributions. An analysis of such tolerance can help us recognize the social causes for jurat corruption in setting up a proper law system against it.
