Title: Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine associated with acupuncture in the treatment for knee rheumatoid arthritis
Abstract: Objective:To observe the efficacy of treating patients with knee rheumatoid arthritis by traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine associated with acupuncture.Methods:90 patients with knee rheumatoid arthritis were randomly divided into the control group(Buprofen+MTX),the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine group(western medicine combined with traditional Chinese medicine) and the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine associated with acupuncture group.Results:The total effectiveness rate in traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine associated with acupuncture group was 80.0%,traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine group was 70.0% and control group was 53.3%.Compared with control group,the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine group was not significant(P0.05),but the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine associated with acupuncture group was higher significantly(P0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine associated with acupuncture for patients with knee rheumatoid arthritis can obviously improve the clinical symptom and provide a beneficial effect.
