Title: Detection of Chlamydia and Mycobacterium infection in uroreproductive tract of 526 female patients and analysis of drug resistance
Abstract: Objective To survey the status of Chlamydia and Mycoplasma infection in females with genital tract inflammation and their resistance to antibiotics. Methods Immunochromatography, recommended by Unipath Biotech Co. Ltd, UK, was used for detection of Chlamydia trachomatis Combination of Ureaplasma culture and susceptibility testing Kit produced by Zhuhai YiMin Biotech Co. Ltd was used for isolation and sensitivity testing of Ureaplasma Urealyticum (UU). Results Out of 624 patients with genital tract inflammation 217 were infected with Chlamydia and Mycoplasma. The infection rates of UU, Mycoplasma hominis (Mh), Chlamyclia Trachomatis (CT), UU+Mh, UU+CT, Mh+CT and UU+Mh+CT were 147(27.95%), 8(1.52%), 27(5.13%), 18(3.42%), 10(1.90%), 5 0.95%)2(0.38%),respectively. The total infection rate of Chlamydia and Mycoplasma was 41.17%. The susceptibility of 147 patients infected with UU to azithromycin, doxycyline and iosamycin were relatively high and low to tetracycline and erythromycin. Conclusion The infection rate of UU is increased in the genital tract of females and the resistant strains are also on the increase. Thus laboratory test and drug sensitivity test be carried out to provide basis for clinical treatment.
