Title: Analysis of the level of T lymphocytes subpopulations in the peripheral blood of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Abstract: Objective:To analyze the characteristics, associated factors and clinical significance of the level of T lymphocytes subpopulations in the peripheral blood of the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods:T lymphocytes of 66 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and the change of T lymphocytes subpopulations in patients were detected, and the results were compared with those of the normal control. Results:The CD4+T cells and CD4+/CD8+ ratio in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.01).Compared with the control group the CD8+T cells in patients with tumor were significantly higher. Conclusions:The cellular immune function of the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma was lowered.Detecting T lymphocyte subpopulations' expression in peripheral blood in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma is of clinical value for assessing cellular immune function, treatment and prognosis of disease.
