Abstract:Based on the data of investment in new rural construction,rural residents' income and rural residents' consumption in the five northwest provinces,this paper quantifies the contribution rate and the i...Based on the data of investment in new rural construction,rural residents' income and rural residents' consumption in the five northwest provinces,this paper quantifies the contribution rate and the inter-provincial heterogeneity of the investment in new rural construction stimulating rural residents' consumption through panel data regression.The result shows that: the investment in new rural construction stimulates rural residents' consumption through net income of rural residents,income structure and non-income factors;there is large inter-provincial heterogeneity in the three ways,and the heterogeneity should be the theoretical support for the policies to stimulate rural residents' consumption through the investment in new rural construction.Read More
