Abstract:To avoid cyanobacterial bloom,the method of ultraviolet irradiation was pointed out,and the inhibition effect of irradiation time,ultraviolet intensity and ultraviolet irradiation in the different gro...To avoid cyanobacterial bloom,the method of ultraviolet irradiation was pointed out,and the inhibition effect of irradiation time,ultraviolet intensity and ultraviolet irradiation in the different growth stages on cyanobacterial growth was investigated.The results show that irradiating cyanobacteria for 3 to 5 min by ultraviolet with intensity of 0.52 mW/cm2 can greatly inhibit its growth.It is economical and effective irradiation dose.Ultraviolet irradiation obviously destroys the structure of cyanobacterial cell,and inhibits the biosynthesis of chlorophyll a,thus causing the considerable inhibition of cyanobacterial growth.Read More
