Title: On Du Fu's Feeling of Loneliness in his KuiZhou Poems
Abstract: Adamancy and optimism are the chief elements in Du Fu' character. Du Fu had been in BaShu for the last ten years in his life after AnShi rebellion. Du Fu' poems in those days show his melancholy and pain because of poverty, illness and affliction. The poet had been in KuiZhou for twenty-one months and produced many scenery poems. In these poems Du Fu expressed not only the yearnings for the bypast days and his home but also the idea of convertion to Buddhism. All of these display strong feelings of loneliness after going through so much crucifixion.
