Title: CT and MRI diagnosis of solid-pseudopapillary tumor of pancreas(a report of 3 cases)
Abstract: Objective To study CT and MRI findings of solid-pseudopapillary tumor in pancreas and to improve the diagnosis ability of this disease.Methods CT were performed in all three patients with solid-pseudopapillery tumors of pancreas proved by surgery and pathology.Of three patients,plain and enhanced MRI was performed in one patient.CT and MRI findings were analyzed retrospectively with a review on relative literatures.Results The main symptom was bellyache,and no jaundice.All patients were found to have solid-cystic mass in pancreas,one in the head and the other two in the body and tail respectively.MRI findings in one patient demonstrated mild low signal on T1WI,mainly mild high signal on T2WI,and a piece of high signal in the front of the focus.On enhanced CT and MRI,the wall of cyst and solid portions of the mass showed enhancement.Conclusion CT and MRI findings of solid-pseudopapillery tumor of pancreas show some characteristics,and this disease can be diagnosed by compositive analysis.
