Title: The Silk Trade between China and Southeast Asia in Ming Dynasty
Abstract: There was a long history of silk trade between China and the Southeast Asian countries. During the early days of the Ming Dynasty, affected by the sea embargo policy and the thought of importing little, exporting much, the silk trade between the two areas was mainly in the form of tribute trade, although there was some private but insignificant trade. With the trade development, Chinese silk all along enjoyed a favorable balance of trading to the Southeast Asian countries.
