Here, the elastic dynamics theory is used as theory foundation and the dynamic response of flexible pavement is gained with the help of the FEM software ABAQUS. According to the characteristics of dynamic load and road structure, the influence of the model size, contact status between layers and soil property, etc. on pavement response is computed. The result shows that infinite element is a good method for saving time to solve large size model problem; contact status especially between surface layer and base layer has a great influence on the working state of pavement structure; Using Duncan-Chang model and the linear elascit model respectively, the corresponding responses in the reversion phase are obviously different.Read More
