Title: Changes of T lymphocyte subsets of patients with gastric cancer in the early stage of adjuvant chemotherapy using XELOX
Abstract: Objective To analyse the changes of T lymphocyte subsets of patients with gastric cancer in the early stage of adjuvant chemotherapy using XELOX. Methods Sixty patients with gastric cancer after radical resection as adjuvant chemotherapy group were treated with XELOX,and peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets were detected before and after chemotherapy respectively. Forty healthy subjects were selected as control group. Results The levels of CD+3and CD+4cells in the adjuvant chemotherapy group before chemotherapy were lower than that in the control group( all P 0. 05). After chemotherapy,in the adjuvant chemotherapy group, the levels of CD+3and CD+4increased than before( all P 0. 05).After chemotherapy, the levels of CD+3and CD+4cells had increased than those before chemotherapy( all P 0. 05). Conclusions In the early stage of adjuvant chemotherapy with XELOX,the levels of CD+3and CD+4are increasing in patients with gastric cancer, which shows that the immune function has improved than before chemotherapy.
