Title: Hydrothermal Synthesis of Nanometer Zinc Oxide from Complexes Precursor and Their Photocatalytic Performance
Abstract: Zinc oxide nanomaterials with different morphologies were prepared by hydrothermal decomposition method using zinc acetylacetonate as precursor. The as-prepared precursor and products were characterized by XRD,UV-Vis and SEM,and the photocatalytic performance of different samples were investigated. The experimental results show that the products are pure zinc oxide with rod-like and plate-like shape. The morphologies and photocatalytic performance of the ZnO nanomaterials are influenced by reaction conditions. It is found that ZnO nanoplates prepared at 180℃for 4hin the presence of NaOH displayed the highest photocatalytic activity.Up to 98% methylene blue(MB)was decolorized after light irradiation for 80min by 500W Xe-lamp.
