Title: Layout Optimization of Roadway for Mining of Close-distance Coal Seams
Abstract: Based on theory of strata control around working face,similar model experiment for the mining of close-distance coal seams was designed by a two dimensional similarity model test bench.The movement law of surrounding rock for close-distance coal seams mining was discussed,the stress transfer law was researched also.The stress distributions near the coal pillar and their evolutions were analyzed emphatically.The deformation of roadways under the conditions of the same support but different stagger distances was calculated.The research showed that when the lower seam was mined the higher stress concentration would produce near the coal pillar remained in the upper coal seam,and the higher stress concentration would increase with the mining of the upper coal seam;not a larger stagger distance between the roadway and the coal pillar is better,when the curve of the stagger distance and roadway deformation shows a V-shape,there is a best stagger distance to help the roadway's maintenance.For Anjialing underground coal mine of Pingshuo mining area,the best stagger distance is 5 metres.
