Title: The expression of minichromosome maintenance protein 2 in colorectal cancer with liver metastases and the clinical significance
Abstract: Objective To explore the relationship between the expression of 2(MCM2) in colorectal cancer tissues and the clinical pathological characteristics of colorectal cancer. Methods From January 2009 to January 2014,215 colorectal cancer patients were enrolled,88 patients with hepatic metastasis as liver metastases group,127 cases as non-liver metastasis group, and 60 cases of healthy people as healthy control group.MCM2 levels in the 3 groups were compared, and the expression of MCM2 in the liver metastasis group and non-liver metastasis group were compared. The relationship between MCM2 expression and clinical pathological features was analyzed. Results Compared to the health control group, colon cancer liver metastasis group and non-liver metastases group's level of MCM2 increased(P0.05),and liver metastasis group's level of MCM2 was higher than those in non-liver metastasis group(P 0.05);liver metastasis group's MCM2 expression rate was 76.1%(67/88),which was higher than non-liver metastasis group's 46.5%(59/127)(P 0.05);MCM2 expression and Colon Cancer TNM staging, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis is closely related(X~2=5.005,4.263,4.388,P 0.05).Conclusion The high expression of MCM2 is related to liver metastasis of colorectal cancer,TNM staging, differentiation, lymphatic metastasis.
