Title: Review on Denaturing Gradient Gel Electrophoresis and its Application in Animal Intestinal Bacterial Community
Abstract: Denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DDGE) was a new electrophoresis method for testing the nucleic acid variation and point mutations, mainly based on the different denaturing concentrations dued to the different nucleic acid sequence of mutant type and wild type, thus using the denaturing gradient glue to make it separate. It could be used in the diversity and dynamics analyses of microbial communities. The principles of DGGE,applications in diversity and dynamics of intestinal bacterial community, the limitations and future developing perspectives were summarized in this paper.
