Title: Clinical Study of Ulinastatin Combined with Methylprednisolone in the Treatment of Patients with Paraquat Poisoning
Abstract: Objective To explore the application value of ulinastatin combined with methylprednisolone in the treatment of patients with paraquat poisoning. Methods 88 patients with paraquat poisoning in our hospital from June 2011 to June 2012 were selected and randomly divided into the study group and the control group with 44 cases in each group. All the patients were given general supportive therapy after definitive diagnosis. The patients in control group were treated with methylprednisolone medication, while patient in study group were treated with methylprednisolone combined with ulinastatin treatment. The clinical situation, complications and auxiliary instrument usage of two groups were compared and analyzed. Results Compared with control group, the efficiency and total efficiency of patients in study group were significantly improve, and inefficiency was decreased significantly, there were statistically significant (P 0.05). At the same time, the patients with hypoxemia and type Ⅰ respiratory failure rate, and the use of mechanical ventilation aids rate were significantly reduced, there were statistically significant (P 0.05). Conclusions Ulinastatin combined with methylprednisolone in the treatment of patients with paraquat poisoning has curative and remarkable effect. It can be used as the ideal combination regimens for paraquat poisoning patients.
