Title: Ethical Characteristics of Human Resource Management in Chinese Enterprises:An Empirical Study Based on Content Analysis of Employee Manuals
Abstract: It is of great significance to study the Human Resource Management(HRM) in ethical perspective under the market economy condition.First,on the basis of research of homeland and foreign scholars,this paper formed five dimensions to study the human resource management ethics: ethical value,right,fairness and justice,openness and ethical care.Then,according to the employee manuals of 160 enterprises,this paper applied content analysis method to analyze the characters and differences of human resource management ethics.The results indicated that there were significant differences on these five dimensions among state-owned enterprises,private firms,joint ventures and foreign enterprises;the interactive effects between industry nature and enterprise nature had no significant effect on Human Resource Management Ethics.At last,based on the results of content analysis,this article drew several conclusions about the construction of Chinese enterprise's human resource management ethics.
