Abstract:The calibration coefficients of thermal infrared channel of IRS sensor on HJ-1B satellite were obtained by using the cross-calibration method based on the MODIS sensor of TERRA.First,the corresponding...The calibration coefficients of thermal infrared channel of IRS sensor on HJ-1B satellite were obtained by using the cross-calibration method based on the MODIS sensor of TERRA.First,the corresponding bands of the two sensors were obtained.Then the influences of different spectral response,satellite view zenith angle,atmosphere condition and temperature change on the match factor were simulated by use of the MODTRAN.In the end,considering the dissimilar band response of the match bands,the band match factors were calculated under different temperatures.Seven images of Qinghai Lake in different times were chosen as the calibration data.On the basis of radiance of MODIS and match factor,the radiance of thermal infrared channel of IRS sensor was calculated.And then the calibration coefficients were obtained by linearly regressing the radiance and the DN value.Comparing the result of this cross-calibration with that of the onboard blackbody calibration,this consistency is better.Read More
